Ask a designer their favorite font and\nthey\u2019ll write you a book on it. Just how every designer has their own designing\nmethods and artistic quirk \u2013 everyone has their own favorite fonts and their applications\ntoo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a design team works with each\nother for too long (our core design team at AGENCY09 has been together for 4+\nyears), you tend to exchange a lot of ideas and knowledge. This also includes\nour individual yet mutual love for certain fonts. Over the passage of time,\nwe\u2019ve had multiple debates over who\u2019s favorite font is the most quirky, or the\nmost universal or the most outright weird one. However, certain fonts hold a\nspecial place in our hearts. Ones that the entire design team unanimously\nagrees upon, ones that are applicable to clients across industries. These fonts\ntranscend internal debates and bring us together as a design powerhouse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a collection of 9 Fonts that we absolutely adore:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. <\/em>Din Font Family: <\/strong>
    <\/strong>Ask any designer or someone from associated departments what our most used font is \u2013 you\u2019re going to get a collective answer: The Din Font Family. An expansive font family of various styles; this font is as versatile as it comes. A sans serif font meant initially made for technical applications, the super uncomplicated and easy-going vibe of the font has made it a favorite across our design verticals.

  2. Proxima Nova:<\/strong>
    <\/strong>Though its regular use in the digital universe over the past few years may sometimes make it feel a bit overused, we never seem to get sick of Proxima Nova. With a geometric set up alongside a modern look & feel, Proxima Nova hits home with a lot of clear and stark designs that rely on clarity<\/g> of text despite its placement.

  3. Century Gothic:<\/strong>
    The love for Century Gothic isn\u2019t only limited to our design team. From content writers to brand planners, everyone is extremely fond of this one. Initially meant for large prints, its clear precise text ensures a luxurious output whenever used.

    <\/strong>Designed as the system font for Google\u2019s android<\/g> operating system, \u2013 Roboto has taken the world by storm ever since it was revealed. Meant for phones, the font stands out excellently whenever used with regards to any digital format of content. The font has a modern, approachable yet emotional appeal to audiences of all types. At AGENCY09, we love using the font for any futuristic of digital only<\/g> content requirements.

  5. Tw<\/g> Cen Mt<\/strong>
    One of the largest font families on this list, TW Cen MT is beloved for its unbeaten combination of simplicity & versatility. The font eliminates unnecessary decoration in favor of simplicity & design cleanliness. The font was a major contributor to the Bauhaus movement. Its versatility is serves<\/g> as an ace card for every designer. Whilst the light variant serves as a good sitting font, its bolder versions can carry off headlines and statements excellently.

    Inspired by the neighbourhood<\/g> of Montserrat in Buenos Aires, the font is a beautiful urban typeface that transports<\/g> one to the vibe of Buenos Aires itself. We personally love the font<\/g> for a ton of positive emotions it exuberates when used \u2013 color, contrast, light, day & night. These are some abstract emotions we love including<\/g> in our designs at AGENCY09.

  7. Helvetica Light<\/strong>
    Okay<\/g> we get it. Everyone\u2019s sick of Helvetica. It\u2019s everywhere. But there\u2019s an undeniable beauty to the general<\/g> applications of the font and its varied use across the globe since<\/g> decades<\/g>. Our favorite variant at A09,<\/g> is the light variant. This version gives<\/g> a calm, cool & no-nonsense vibe to any text you throw its way. Most modern designers may cringe at the thought of using the font but it still<\/g> remains every designer\u2019s secret weapon when they hit a creative block<\/g>.

  8. Magnolia Script <\/strong>
    Perfect for headlines and type blocks, Magnolia Script has come to become one of our favorites when it comes to festive creatives. A font that conveys positivity and togetherness with a little bit of fun, Magnolia script is a bundle of joy that\u2019s bound to bring youthful energy to any creative.

  9. Impact: <\/strong>
    A realist font, Impact is extremely helpful when we\u2019ve got a statement to make. When there\u2019s a singular word encompassing entire thoughts. When there\u2019s a thought that needs to be yelled out. Oh, Impact is also the font you see in memes everywhere. With its nature of literally making an \u2018impact\u2019, the font is one of our favorites when it comes to leaving a mark with a creative.
